JACKSON, Mo. -- Crystal Dawn Jordan and James Loyde Blackwell were married July 20, 2002, at First Baptist Church. The Rev. Earl Statler performed the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Larry and Alexia Jordan of Scopus, Mo., and Christina Streiler of Jackson. The groom is the son of Bob and Barb Blackwell of Cape Girardeau.
Elizabeth Kempfer of Scopus, cousin of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Kim Byerley of Cape Girardeau; Amber Streiler of Jackson, Linda Streiler of Poplar Bluff, Mo., Beth Jordan of Scopus, sisters of the bride; and Tina Mansker of Cape Girardeau, sister of the groom.
Best man was Brian Cartwright of Cape Girardeau. Groomsmen were Steve Byerley, Jordan Picker and Richard Deimund, all of Cape Girardeau, Jason Streiler of Poplar Bluff, brother of the bride; and Chad Ramsey of Jackson. Ushers were Ben Mansker of Cape Girardeau and Avery Ennis of Scopus.
Flower girls were Britany Garland of Scopus and Anna Crites of Jackson. Ringbearer was Jordan Mueller, son of the bride. Britany is the daughter of Jackie and Jennifer Garland. Anna is the daughter of Linda Streiler and Darin Crites.
Candlelighters were Daniel Jordan of Scopus and Nathan Streiler of Jackson, brothers of the bride.
Jessica Garland attended the guest book.
Following the ceremony, the reception was held at Heartland Banquet Hall. Servers were Phyliss Mayfield, Janice Long and Faye Garland.
The bride and groom hosted the rehearsal dinner July 19 at their home.
Mrs. Blackwell is assistant manager at Pizza Hunt in Jackson.
The groom received an associate's degree in applied science. He is a shift supervisor at Domino's Pizza in Jackson.
The couple resides in Jackson.
