Letter to the Editor

Let candidates know that actions will decide votes

To the editor:

Let is be known that I will not vote for any candidate who does not openly, persistently and with vigor condemn all people who use fraud and violations of laws and ethics for self gain, either private or government workers or politicians.

They should seek to get laws passed that would take all wealth gained by unlawful and unethical acts from the guilty individuals and from all persons who benefited from such actions. Take the profit out of crime and remove the temptation.

My convictions on this transcend the person and political party. The actions of candidates will determine my support. They either condemn or condone these actions and should openly act and speak as such.

I think every person should use a response such as this to every request for votes and money from all federal politicians. I've had copies made and mail one in the candidates' reply envelopes.
