SCOTT CITY, Mo. -- Evelyn Louise Foster, beloved by family and friends, died Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2002, at the age of 60.
She was born Nov. 9, 1941, at Delta, Mo., daughter of Russell and Iva Driskell Medley. She and James W. Foster were married Aug. 16, 1958, in Chaffee, Mo.
Mrs. Foster was a member of the Scott City Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.
Survivors include her husband; two sons and daughters-in-law, James William Foster Jr. and Abbi of Cape Girardeau, Cletus Russell Foster and Michelle of Iowa City, Iowa; three sisters, Dee Gettings of Scott City, Rhonda Vaughn of Nashville, Tenn., Sharon Thatcher of Sikeston, Mo.; two brothers, Robert Medley of Vanduser, Mo., Truman Eugene Medley of Sikeston; and a grandson, Jacob Foster.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Alice Scally.
There is no visitation.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 215 Chester, in Scott City.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or Jehovah's Witnesses World Wide Building Fund.
Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau is in charge of arrangements.
