Lakes

Clearwater Lake: high, muddy; catfish fair on worms; all other species slow (Report made 5/22)

Council Bluff: 66 degrees, high, murky; largemouth bass, catfish and redear sunfish fair; crappie slow. (Report made 5/22)

Duck Creek: 67 degrees, normal, clear; bluegill and largemouth bass fair. (Report made 5/22)

Lake Girardeau: 70 degrees, high, murky; largemouth bass good on spinnerbaits; bluegill good on crickets and worms; all other species slow. (Report made 5/22)

Wappapello: falling, largemouth bass fair on spinnerbaits and plastic worms; crappie fair on minnows and jigs; bluegill fair on crickets; catfish fair on trotlines using live baits. Lake level crested at 395.13 on Sunday, May 19 and is slowly falling; call lake hotline for a list of closed areas at (877)525-3463.

Black River (near Annapolis): high, clear; catfish fair on worms; rock bass fair on worms and minnows; all other species slow. (Report made 5/22)
