Aline BakerWednesday, May 1, 2002FREDERICKTOWN, Mo. -- Hazel Aline Baker, 81, of Fredericktown died Monday, April 29, 2002, in Fredericktown. She was born May 31, 1920, at Elvins, Mo., daughter of William Pierce and Lillie Powell Ward. She and Joseph Marvin Baker were married July 2, 1937, in Alma, Mich. He preceded her in death. Mrs. Baker was a member of Rhodes Chapel Church, McDonald Chapter Order of Eastern Star, Bridgeton Chapter Order of Eastern Star 266, and Rebekah Lodge in Fredericktown. Survivors include a son, Marvin Ward Baker and wife Sharon Loesch Baker of Palestine, Texas; a sister, Bonnie Martin and husband Marvin of St. Charles, Mo.; two grandchildren, Deborah Kaye McCreary of Crystal City, Mo., Kelly Michelle Thill of Boca Raton, Fla.; three great-grandchildren; four sisters-in-law, Mable Sample, Ethel Baker, Thelma Stone and Jane Barnes; and a brother-in-law, the Rev. Charles Elmer Baker. Friends may call at Follis and Sons Funeral Home in Fredericktown after 5 p.m. Thursday. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Fred Rister officiating. Burial will be in Old Masonic Cemetery. |
