The intriguing paintings of Cape artist and art teacher Paul White Eagle will be featured April 10 and 12 at Cherokee Trails Gallery and Gift Shop. The accomplished artist is a chief of an American Indian tribe that originated in this area. Paul White Eagle will be on hand from 10 - 5 on April 10 and 1-8 on April 26 to meet visitors, answer questions and sign autographs. A display of his colorful art will also be for sale.

The shop is located at 105 Broadway and is in its seventh year of business. It specializes in Native American arts and crafts and usually has at works by at least a dozen artists represented at any one time. Cherokee Trails also custom makes all types of Indian regalia.

With monthly culture meetings, Cherokee Trails has become a gathering place for native people and for people with interest in native culture. Come and enjoy the works of Paul White Eagle and other artists who are featured throughout the year.
