Women's agriculture club in search of new members

The Scott County Women in Agriculture is looking for new members with membership open to anyone who is actively involved in or is interested in agricultural matters, said Terra Holt, president of the club.

Club meetings will be held the first Thursday of each month, alternating between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m.

Meetings will be held at the USDA Service Center at Benton.

The group's next meeting will be at 7 p.m. Thursday.

Holt said meetings will feature speakers who present information on a variety of topics, including health issues, nutritional cooking, gardening, crafts and grain marketing.
