GREENFIELD, Mo. -- Jury selection began Wednesday in the Dade County trial of a Missouri State Highway Patrol pilot accused of raping an 11-year-old girl in 1989.
Sgt. David Callaway, 41, of Marshfield, is charged with rape, sodomy and sexual abuse. A pilot for the patrol, he remains on unpaid administrative leave. Prosecutors said Callaway abused the girl while teaching her to swim at a Stockton Lake campground.
