BLOOMFIELD, Mo. -- Roy Ashley Poe, 90, died Sunday, Dec. 9, 2001, at Central Gardens in Dexter, Mo.
He was born Aug. 22, 1911, son of the late Terry and Cora Stacey Poe. He and the late Agnes Hankins were married Dec. 24, 1932. She died April 30, 1992. He and the late Hollie Yeakey were married in January 1993. She died in March 2000.
Poe was retired from Elder Manufacturing Co. in Bloomfield since 1975. He was a 50-year member and past Master of Bloomfield Lodge 153 A.F and A.M. and a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Bloomfield.
Survivors include two daughters, Carolyn Bell of Dexter and Brenda Horner of Imperial, Mo.; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
He was also preceded in death by a daughter and a son.
Friends may call at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield from 5-8 p.m. today. Masonic Rites will be given at 7 p.m. by Bloomfield Lodge 153 A.F. and A.M.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Trinity United Methodist Church. The Rev. Ron Dunavin will officiate, with burial in West Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
