DEXTER, Mo. -- Funeral for Marlin Dunn of Dexter will be held at 2 p.m. today at Rainey Funeral Home. The Rev. Adam Mueller will officiate. Burial will be in Dexter Cemetery.
Dunn, 65, died Monday, Nov. 12, 2001, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
He was born March 22, 1936, in Uniontown, Ky., son of John and Minnie Overfield Dunn. He and JoAnn Koch were married June 10, 1978, in Oak Lawn, Ill.
Dunn owned 225 Package Store.
He served in the U.S. Army.
Survivors include two sons, Patrick Dunn of New Caney, Texas, Eric Dunn of the home; a daughter, Marla Speakman of Lake Benton, Minn.; and a stepdaughter, Nicole Crowley of Woodridge, Ill.
Also surviving are three brothers, James Dunn of Uniontown, Ky., Roy Dunn of Morganfield, Ky., Sylvester Dunn of Sylvester, Ga.; five sisters, Imogene Linton, Shirley Carley and Kay Minton, all of Uniontown, Ky., Patricia Nally and Alice Corsi of Cleveland, Ohio; four grandchildren; and two stepgrandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, a brother, and a sister.
