Consent ordinances

  • Held a public hearing regarding the request of Midamerica Hotels Corp. to rezone part of Lot 35, Doctor's Park, from C-1, local commercial district, to C-2, general commercial district.

    Held a public hearing regarding the request of George and Patricia Bockhorst for a special-use permit for the extension of the Armor Mini-Storage complex at 1678 Kingsway.

  • Approved an ordinance authorizing the mayor to execute a special warranty deed to St. Francis Hospital of Franciscan Sisters for unneeded right of way for the Silver Springs Road project, north of William Street.

    Approved an ordinance amending Chapter 2 of the city code relating to city advisory boards and commissions term limits and attendance policy.

    Approved an ordinance amending Chapter 30 of the Code of Ordinances by changing the zoning of part of Lot 35 of Doctor's Park from C-1 to C-2.

    Approved an ordinance amending Chapter 30 of the Code of Ordinances by changing the zoning of part of Lot 35 of Doctor's Park from C-1 to C-2.

    Approved an ordinance granting a special-use permit to George E. and Patricia A. Bockhorst Sr. and Tim Bockhorst for purposes of constructing, maintaining and operating an extension of the existing Armor Mini-Storage complex at 1678 Kingsway Drive. (If the ordinance is not approved, a motion will need to be made to adopt a finding and conclusions denying the application.)

  • Approved a resolution authorizing the city manager to execute Amendment No. 8 to the professional services agreement with Sverdrup Civil, Inc., for the sanitary sewer improvement program.

    Approved a resolution authorizing the city manager to execute Project Agreement No. 2 to a professional services contract with Crawford, Murphy & Tilly, Inc., consulting engineers, for a hangar/manufacturing facilities for Renaissance Aircraft, at the Cape Girardeau Regional Airport.

    Approved a resolution authorizing the city manager to enter into a contract with Holshouser and Associates, for seismic resistance structural engineering services for Fire Station No. 1.Liquor licenses

  • Approved a temporary 5 percent by the drink license for Mary Kathleen Patterson, d/b/a St. Vincent de Paul School for an event to be held Nov. 2-3 at the A.C. Brase Arena Building.

    Gave conditional approval of an original package liquor and Sunday sales license for Pajco Inc., d/b/a Rhodes 101 Stop, 1126 N. Sprigg, Paul Dirnberger, managing officer.

    A request was withdrawn by the applicant for an approval of a retail liquor by the drink license for Helen Crites, d/b/a Helen's Bar and Grill, 2100 Big Bend Road, Helen Crites, managing officer.

    Approved a Sunday sales license for Richard Siebert/Siebert Nine, Inc., d/b/a Breaduaux Pizza, 1455 N. Kingshighway, Richard Siebert, managing officer.
