Tara Beth Jones and David Michl McMullin were married Jan. 6, 2001, at New McKendree United Methodist Church in Jackson, Mo. The Rev. John Rice performed the double ring ceremony. Pianist and organist was Linda Thompson, harpist was Jo Ann Rhodes, vocalist was Bill Engel, all of Jackson, and violinist was Nicole Fulwider of Columbia, Mo.
Parents of the couple are David and Pat Jones and John and Taffy McMullin, all of Cape Girardeau.
Maid of honor was Jackie Langford of Jackson, and matron of honor was Brandon Brazel of Cape Girardeau. Bridesmaids were Emily McMullin, sister of the groom, and Crystal Jones, sister of the bride, both of Cape Girardeau.
Jason Weber of Jackson served the groom as best man. Groomsmen were Jamie Criddle of Jackson; Eric Brazel, and Mark McMullin, brother of the groom, both of Cape Girardeau. Ushers were James McMullin of Cape Girardeau, brother of the groom, and Jason Burke of Carbondale, Ill., brother-in-law of the groom.
Sarah Burke of Carbondale, sister of the groom, attended the guest book.
Following the ceremony, the reception was held at Drury Lodge.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner Jan. 5 at Mollie's Cafe and Bar.
Mrs. McMullin received a degree in chemical engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia. She is a technical manager at Procter & Gamble.
The groom received a degree in civil engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia. He is project engineer with Fronabarger Concreters Inc.
The couple resides in Cape Girardeau.
