T'was the night before the millennium and all through the house, not a light was on in the house. The computers had crashed along with the banks, and the Army was in the streets with shields and tanks. The people were worried, and some even cried. The Y2K had come even through some thought it was a lie. The kids were happy because there wouldn't be any school, and the parents were embarrassed from being such fools. It was Jan. 1 and the world was dark. No one had electricity, and people acted like sharks, rioting and stealing. The police were busy. The rush and noise really made you dizzy. For the people who had taken notice and stocked up on food were cozily sitting by the fireplace in a really good mood. The moral of the story is, never be left behind, because you might just find yourself in the very same bind.
