THE PUBLIC MIND: THANKS NEWSPAPER FOR WORK WITH SCHOOL

This article comes from our electronic archive and has not been reviewed. It may contain glitches.

To the Editor:

For six years the Southeast Missourian has been a dedicated Adopt-a-School partner to Schultz.

For six years and issue after issue, the Southeast Missourian has provided Schultz with The Paw newspaper. The school paper provides the students with news about their own school and something enjoyable to read. All of this is at no cost to the school.

Other important services the Southeast Missourian provides for the school are the "A" and "B" Honor Roll certificates, Student of the Month certificates, and a daily supply of 52 Southeast Missourians for classroom use throughout the building.

Along with these important contributions are still others: giving teachers flowers during Teacher Appreciation Week, bringing apples for students during Back-to-School Week, supplying teachers with Paw Gram notes for students, providing speakers for assemblies, and volunteering Southeast Missourian staff members for Field Day assistance.

The staff members and students of Schultz School, as well as their families, consider themselves very lucky to have the Southeast Missourian as benefactor.

Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you for six years of dedication to us!
