LETTERS: NEIGHBORS ARE SPECIAL PEOPLE

To the editor:

Our next-door neighbors, Clyde and Becky Ledbetter, and their daughter, Danielle, share their lives with us.

They share Sophie, their friendly Shelty dog, and Squeeky, their cat. We share tools for repair work, and now and then when we are not looking, they mow our lawn and shovel snow.

Clyde is a barbecue king and a great fisherman and is most generous with all of these good eats.

Above all, when my brother's grandson was hospitalized recovering from a gunshot wound, Clyde and Becky parked their large motor home at St. Francis Medical Center for three weeks to accommodate the out-of-state family visitors. We all appreciate the friendship and generosity of the Ledbetters and look forward to many more years as neighbors.
