LETTERS: LETTER WRITER'S WIFE: HE'LL GET OVER IT

This article comes from our electronic archive and has not been reviewed. It may contain glitches.

To the editor:

I enjoyed your recent piece on some of those who frequently write letters to the editor. They are special people. In addition, I would like to thank you for leaving my husband, Steve, out of the story.

If he had been included, it would have motivated him to spend still more time (it that's possible) composing letters to the editor. Frankly, though he disagrees, his time could be much better spent helping out with washing the dishes, vacuuming, doing the laundry and completing other household tasks that need to be shared, particularly in a family where both spouses are employed.

Because he was not mentioned in the story, he is, as some Speak Out callers might suspect, seething with jealousy and anger. He'll get over it.
