Claude A. Kelley, 90, of Cape Girardeau died Friday, Aug. 24, 2001, at Frene Valley Nursing Home in Hermann, Mo.

He was born Jan. 20, 1911, at Eminence, Mo., son of Claude A. and Anna L. Griffith Kelley.

Kelley had worked at Thorngate Ltd. and had been an insurance salesman. He was a member of Maple United Methodist Church, charter member of the Teamsters Union and a member of the Democratic Committee.

Survivors include a son, Robert Kelley of Munford, Tenn.; a daughter, Mary Ann Still of Hermann; three brothers, Curtis and Shannon Kelley of Cape Girardeau, Lloyd Kelley of Memphis, Tenn.; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by three brothers.

Friends may call at Lorberg Memorial Funeral Chapel from 4:30-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the chapel. The Rev. Jack Cathcart will officiate. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery.
