The Southeast Missourian is asking for an act of kindness from the community. A white banner similar to the one above was blown away by high winds during the storm Monday afternoon. the vinyl banner is 3 feet tall and 16 feet long and had been displayed near Houck Stadium across Broadway. The newspaper planned to reuse the banner each year.
