Ramsey Branch, the area's first 55+ active adult community, is expanding into the next phase. Currently, Phase 1 is 80% built, including several custom homes being constructed. Homes range in price from $175,000 to around $250,000, depending on features.

"What continues to make the Ramsey Branch Community grow is the people," says developer Bill King. "This is more than a subdivision. The people living in Ramsey Branch look out for one another. That's important for loved ones to know -- relatives are around people their age, and people are close by to help out."

At Ramsey Branch, people own their homes, which makes it different from other community living options in the area. King adds there is increasing interest for leasing a home in Ramsey Branch, and that Ramsey Branch offers leasing for people aged 55 or older, as well. All the amenities packages apply just the same, including use of the community center.
