Four eras represented

At a family gathering of the Conrad and Schalte familes held April 27 near Advance, Missouri, it was determined that there were four Army veterans in attendance from four different eras. These four men are married to four sisters. From left, Jim Owens of Zalma, Missouri, Vietnam era; H.W. Winchester of Advance, World War II era; Sam Conrad of Cape Girardeau, Korean era; and Dewayne young of Scott City, Cold War era.
