Letter to the Editor

President Trump's performance

A recent letter to the editor was very critical of President Trump's behavior and even attempted a remote psychological diagnosis. President Trump's performance trumps most, if not all, perceived decorum shortcomings. Granted, his "verbal whackings" of opponents and those in his own party who are weak kneed is unprecedented by Republican presidents. Previous conservative POTUS thought that such behavior was beneath the dignity of the office which played perfectly into the hands of their opponents who took advantage of this restrained tendency. Previous liberal POTUS didn't need to be verbally aggressive because the overwhelming media bias and liberal academia would do their dirty work for them.

Trump voters seem to be overwhelmingly satisfied with the President's performance thus far and are more motivated than ever to continue showing support. Promises made are being kept. Unemployment down, taxes down, stock market up, GDP way up, enforcement of our sovereignty taken seriously and respect through strength is begrudgingly being accepted by the world's dirt bags. The only apprehension I have come across are those in business that have been affected by his free trade negotiations and tariffs, but almost all recognize that Trump is playing long ball and that this will ultimately end with a better outcome. Lastly, non partisans are seeing the success and the completely abusive treatment every day and their eyes are being opened.

If any psychological diagnoses is needed it is "Trump Derangement Syndrome" from which Hollywood, deep state, media and academia suffer.
