Cape Girardeau--Burrito-Ville donates $1,500 to local hero Robert Harris

Burrito-Ville held a #GiveBacktoCape fundraiser on April 18 from 5-9 p.m., donating 10 percent of all sales, with customers helping to raise $286.06. The event included Robert Harris, the Cape Parks and Recreation staff, and friends from the community who came out to support.

The funds that were being raised are important to Robert Harris. Harris has a hand in the Community Garden Program and plays a big role with the upkeep and beautification. He also does great things in the community for the youth with his program “Kids in the Kitchen”!

Burrito-Ville has had a long-standing relationship with Robert Harris and is always excited to help out in any way possible! In the past, Robert was the reason there were vegetables growing in the planters on the establishment’s patio. Burrito-Ville has held fundraisers in the past for Harris to help with the upkeep of the Community GardenProgram.

The funds raised are essential to helping the Cape Parks and Recreation Community Gardens. Burrito-Ville added to the $318.06 raised by the customers, for a total of $1,500 donation to Robert Harris and Cape Parks and Recreation Foundation.
