Safe House for Women Receives Donation
On April 10, 2018, the Safe House for Women received a donation from the proceeds of the 19th annual Captain Woody Rushing Golf Tournament, which was held at Kimbeland Country Club last October. A total of $13,000 will be donated to 14 organizations from the 2017 tournament proceeds.
The Rushing Family Trust was created in memory of Captain Woody and Evelyn Rushing, and works to make a positive difference in the lives of disadvantaged women and children, and others with extraordinary needs.
