Members of the Tilsit 4-H Club made and delivered 28 weighted blankets and 33 lap pads to a local school district and to the Easter Seals office at Southeast Missouri State University to help autistic children in our area. Sixteen youth members and eleven adult volunteers logged over 150 work hours to complete this annual project. This project was supported by the Missouri 4-H Foundation with funds from Crader Distributing Co and Stihldealers.com

Austin Bodenstein of the Tilsit 4-H Club proudly holds three weighted blankets that he sewed.
Zach Aufdenberg & Renee Peters of the Tilsit 4-H Club cut recycled sheets into smaller strips to use as stuffing inside weighted blankets. Nine completed weighted blankets set beside them awaiting donation to Easter Seals or local school districts.
Barb Gholson sews shut rice bags to use inside lap pads. Blake Aufdenberg of the Tilsit 4-H Club helps with pins and waits to move the finished rice bags to the next work station.
Tilsit 4-H Club members Kaden Sievers and Clayton Birk work together with pride to finish another weighted blanket.
