Die-In at Senator Blunt's office in Cape

Citizens gathered at Senator Roy Blunt's on Monday, June 26. We expressed our anger at the proposed senate health care law. We believe the citizens of Missouri will be irreparably harmed should this bill pass. The poor and elderly will suffer and Medicaid losses will cause hospitals to close. It will impact the insurance of those who get this through their employment. Lifetime maximums will be reimposed. Essential health benefits will be lost.

We staged a die-in outside the office and we were represented by the Indivisible groups from Poplar Bluff and from Mineral Area. Also represented were the Democratic parties from Cape and Stoddard counties.
