What makes you the most qualified candidate for this position?

As a Kelly alumni, a school board member (9 years), a Kelly parent of 4 students (total of 16 years) and a 4-H leader, I enjoy working to bring quality educational opportunities to area children and families. I look forward to continuing to serve the community, students, parents, faculty and staff of the Kelly school district.

What do you see as the opportunities and challenges in the district?

Maintaining and improving the already high standard of education in the Kelly District is the most important issue. Preparing Kelly students for the future through sound curriculum, new learning opportunities, dedicated teachers and a safe educational environment are all keys to success in our school district.

How will you communicate your work to your constituents?

Communication with Kelly parents, teachers and staff is vital to our school district. I am always happy to sit down and talk with anyone who wishes to discuss school opportunities or concerns. What are the factors on which you will base your decisions as a school board member?

As a Kelly parent and as a school board member, my decisions are based upon what contributes to the best education and opportunities for the Kelly students.
