What is the most important issue facing Scott City? What can be done about it?

Seems to be a lot of frivolous spending goin on. Look for a 5 year plan for the city, assess the needs by evaluating them and progress in steps. I feel stricter mobile home codes need to be addressed. Would like the water billing system to be looked at again. There's still questions on inconsistency in bills.

What in your background or education makes you qualified for this office?

Born and raised in Scott City. Graduated from Scott City High School. I am a Military Veteran. Served 3 years on the Scott City Park Board and 2 years as President of the Scott City Youth League. Coached baseball for 10 years in City League. I served 4 years on St Joseph School Board.

What infrastructure improvements would you like to see?

The city is in dire need of sidewalks, especially kids walking to school. Try to get a "Quiet Zone" through town with the railroad. This will help with businesses and residents along Main St. Would like to see more businesses come to town, especially a gas station closer to the interstate for travelers.
