CENET to Host “Taste of Sweden” Fundraising Event

On Thursday, April 27, Cultural Exchange Network (CENET) will partner with Hedman Vineyards to present a "Taste of Sweden,” a culinary & wine experience. The event will take place at The Peachbarn at Hedman Vineyards in Alto Pass, Illinois. Each ticket includes a welcome drink, 3-course dinner and wine pairings.

The owners of Hedman Vineyards moved from Stockholm, Sweden twenty years ago. Hedman Vineyards offers award-winning wines and gourmet Swedish cuisine, set to a scenic backdrop complete with a 1940’s Peachbarn, a sprawling orchard, and vineyard.

Proceeds from a "Taste of Sweden" will go to CENET's local program, Culture in the Community (CITC). CITC aims to provide authentic, international education to local schools and groups. CITC also provides scholarship opportunities to the renowned Concordia Language Villages. To date, CITC has provided free educational sessions to thousands of area youth.
