The chapter level of the MathCounts competition was held Feb. 10 at the Cape Girardeau Career and Technology Center. Duncan Brown, a student from Jackson Junior High School, won the top mathlete award in the chapter level of the competition sponsored by the Southeast Chapter of the Missouri Society of Professional Engineers. The top two teams and top 10 individuals in the Southeast Chapter will advance to the state level of the competition to be held Saturday in Rolla, Missouri.
