Women line up in Minneapolis for 'she persisted' tattoos

MINNEAPOLIS -- So many women showed up at a Minneapolis tattoo parlor for a permanent reminder of female solidarity, it had to turn away some latecomers. Brass Knuckle Tattoo Studio offered tattoos of the words "Nevertheless, she persisted" for $75, with proceeds going toward a group dedicated to boosting representation of pro-choice women in political office, Minnesota Public Radio reported. More than 100 women came in for appointments during the event Tuesday.
