CANTON JUNCTION TO GET THEIR PRAISE ON IN POPLAR BLUFF NOVEMBER 3

Canton Junction

Dove Award-winning Difference Media recording artist Canton Junction is set to bring their “Get Your Praise On” tour to Poplar Bluff’s First Baptist Church (551 N Westwood Blvd) on Thursday, November 3, at 7:00 PM. Joining them will be special guests ACM Award-winner Gordon Mote. Fans are also invited to a special food truck “Meet & Eat” at 5:30 PM where they will have the opportunity to purchase food and share a meal with the artists before the concert.

The concert is free, with donations accepted for Sanctuary of Hope, an outreach of John Hagee Ministries for unwed mothers and orphaned children.

“We love having the opportunity to share songs from Every Hallelujah on this tour,” said Canton Junction’s Matt Hagee. “It’s a special treat for us to get to connect with so many at the ‘Meet & Eat’ events before the shows.”

Canton Junction’s latest recording, Every Hallelujah, debuted at #1 on Nielsen SoundScan’s Southern Gospel Overall Chart and in the Top 20 on Billboard’s Top Current Contemporary Christian chart, following its release last year. Produced by award-winning musician Garry Jones, Every Hallelujah features 13 powerful selections, including the soaring single “Weep No More.”

Since their debut in 2012, Canton Junction has quickly become one of southern gospel music’s most sought-after quartets. The self-titled Canton Junction featured the #1 singles “Hold On,” "The Son Shines Down On Me," “Sweeter As The Days Go By” and “Dig A Little Deeper,” garnering a GMA Dove Award for Southern Gospel Album of the Year. In 2014 the group received the Singing News Fan Award for Favorite Southern Gospel New Traditional quartet.

A two-time Academy of Country Music Award-winner for Top Piano/Keyboard Player, Gordon Mote has worked with some of the biggest names in music, including Lionel Richie, Carrie Underwood, Blake Shelton, and Bob Seger, among numerous others. He has also recorded an impressive body of solo work---three instrumental and seven vocal albums---including If You Could Hear What I See (2004), Don’t Let Me Miss the Glory (2007), and his acclaimed Christmas collection, The Star Still Shines (2012). Mote’s latest album, Gordon Mote Sings Hymns and Songs of Inspiration, features guest vocals from such leading artists as Trace Adkins, Sheryl Crow, The Gaither Vocal Band and Darius Rucker.
