SoutheastHEALTH Salutes Volunteers at Recognition Dinner

Peck Robert began driving from his home in Kelso to Southeast Hospital to volunteer as a front door Lobby greeter, and he has donated over 5,000 hours holding open the door and greeting people with a smile and handshake. In 2005, Germaine Robert began volunteering at the front Lobby desk and thus far has given over 2,000 hours of service. The Roberts, recipients of the Ilena Aslin Award, are shown here with Awards Chair Judy Brown.

The Southeast Missouri Hospital Auxiliary honored volunteers Peck and Germaine Robert with the Ilena Aslin Service Award at the group’s annual recognition dinner. Volunteer Pat Robert received the Margaret Foster Roberts Award. Volunteers, who reached service milestones, also were recognized at the event held recently at the Osage Centre.

Pat Robert was recognized for her efforts helping raise thousands of dollars through various fund-raising activities, including work as chairman of the Golf Ball Drop benefit two years, as a steering committee member of the Festival of Holiday Trees in 2014 and 2016, and as general chairman of all Auxiliary fundraising the past three years. A volunteer since 2005, Robert has given more than 2,000 hours of service with fundraising activities and at the front Lobby desk.
