Local Baseball Players Named to USSSA All-American Team

Three baseball players from Southeast Missouri were named to the USSSA All-American 11U Baseball team and competed this month at the All-American Games at ESPN's Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, FL.

Henley Parker (son of Geoff and Christy Parker of Jackson), Baden Hackworth (son of J.W. and Kim Hackworth of Sikeston), and Cole Lemons (son of Ivan and Mindy Lemons of Cape Girardeau) were chosen from thousands of participants to represent the Central United States.

Parker and Hackworth play for the Jackson Tribe Baseball Team (Jackson, MO.) Lemons plays for the Lids MO Bulls Baseball Team (Cape Girardeau, MO.)

USSSA, headquartered in Osceola County, Florida, is the World’s Largest Multi-sport Athletic Organization. Founded in 1968, USSSA has grown to over 4 million participants, competing in 13 nationally sanctioned sports.
