Best Bet: Annual Sweetcorn Festival planned this weekend

The 42nd annual East Prairie Sweetcorn Festival will begin at 5:30 p.m. today and continue at 7:30 a.m. Saturday at the downtown gazebo at Washington and Main streets in East Prairie, Missouri. The weekend will kick off with a block party Friday night with live music from The Boomers, carnival rides, food and more. The Tour de Corn Bike Ride will begin at 7:30 a.m. Saturday.
