What makes you the most qualified candidate for this position?

1) 5 years experience as a municipal judge;

2) 19 years as an attorney who has handled hundreds of felony cases, including multiple murder cases; and

3) Life experience learned during 29 1/2 years in the U.S. Navy Submarine Services.

Where do you believe the most improvements, if any, should be made to the municipal court?

I believe that Municipal Courts are doing a very good job. However, like everything else, there is room for improvement. The "Missouri Municipal and Associate Circuit Judges Association" does a wonderful job of training Municipal Judges at their annual courts conference; but I believe that whenever we have significant changes in the law, like Senate Bill #5, more specific training on these changes would improve Municipal Courts.
