What in your background or education makes you qualified for this office?

I'm a graduate of S.C.C and recently joined the S.C.C All School Foundation. I have personal investment at S.C.C with 3 kids attending, I've been constantly involved with the school for the past 9 years. My job in sales gives me the opportunity to work with and for people with diverse backgrounds and personalities. Between my business experience and being a parent I think I'd be an asset to the Board.

What do you believe is the greatest challenge facing your school district?

I believe our greatest challenge is ensuring our children educational success. I believe we need to develop a good strategy and obtain tools necessary to improve test scores and graduation rates across our district. To prepare our kids for higher education and to be workforce ready. Make sure our kids are a positive influence to our society.

If elected, do you have any plans for improving the school district?

I have no particular agenda, but rather a desire to fully explore the issues that come before the Board, to engage the community in meaningful dialogue, and to help move the school district in a positive direction. If elected you can expect me to work hard. You can expect honesty, common sense, openness and transparency. I'll give support to the students, administration and teachers. I'd like to give something back to our school district.
