Assessing lives, setting goals for a prosperous 2016

Today is the last one of 2015, and another year has passed us by.

How did your 2015 go?

It probably had some ups and downs, some achievements and missteps.

As you think about the prospects of 2016, we hope you already have your priorities aligned and step into the new year with momentum. But if not, we hope you take a moment to assess those things that are most important and begin the year with a fresh start with the first day of 2016.

We hope you view your next year as an opportunity to get better. We hope you set realistic goals, and understand that a setback is not a failure, but a bump in the road.

Tonight, as you celebrate the passing of another year and the prospects of a new one, please be safe and responsible. If you go out and drink, please designate a sober driver.

Please take some time to also assess all that is right and good in your life. Sometimes we focus too much on improving our flaws and neglect to be grateful for those things that are right. Celebrate your friends and family.

We hope you have a wonderful New Year's Eve and a great 2016. God bless.
