Man charged after proposing on freeway

HOUSTON -- A Houston man risks a jail term after he stopped traffic on a busy interstate highway Sunday to propose marriage to his girlfriend, Michelle Wycoff, amid a cacophony of angry shouts and truck and car horns. Wycoff said yes to Vidal Valladares, who was charged Tuesday with obstructing a roadway, a Class B misdemeanor punishable by up to six months in jail and a fine of up to $2,000.
