Recent Jackson Graduate elected Student Body President

Molly Turner, a 2012 Jackson High School Graduate, was elected President of the Truman State University Student Government for the 2015-2016 school year. Last year she served as Vice President. She is a Philosophy and Religion major who has presented undergraduate work at St. Louis University and Pacific University in Oregon and studied abroad in the Middle East. Molly has been active in the community by starting a co-op glass recycling program at Truman that has since expanded to the Kirksville area and completed over 400 hours of service through a co-ed Service Fraternity - Alpa Phi Omega. She has been active on campus in addition to Student Government. She has been a Truman State Cheerleader for the past 3 years - this year as a Captain, and is employed as a Career Assistant in the Truman Career Center.
