Cape Parks gracious hosts

A great big thank you to the Cape Girardeau Parks and Recreation for hosting the Amateur Softball Association Men's Class E Slow Pitch national championship this past weekend. Kaed Horrell, tournament director, and all the staff did an outstanding job hosting this event. Shawnee Complex is an outstanding facility, and all the requirements in hosting a national event were met and, for the most part, exceeded. Cape Girardeau is an outstanding city, and my wife and I enjoyed and appreciated the visit. Thank you to the entire city for being such gracious hosts, and, again, thanks to the Parks and Rec department for doing such a great job. ASA will be back!
