2nd Annual Horseshoes 4 "everyday" HEROES Tournament

Come on out to the Al Friga Farm (Paul Friga) located on Highway 77 between Chaffee and Oran (off of County Road 248) to the 2nd Annual Horseshoes 4 "everyday" HEROES Tournament on Saturday, October 10 beginning at 10:00 a.m. (Banners and Signs will be posted so you can easily find your way!)

Yer gonna need a pardner for this here tournament. Cost will be $25.00 per person/$50.00 per team if registration paid by October 2. The Day of the Event, Cost will be $30.00 per person/$60.00 per team. We will be using our special wooden safety horseshoes. (That's right folks--this is not yer or'inary horseshoes!) No skeel required just plain ol' luck.

Yer official Horseshoes 4 "everyday" HEROES coolie cup will be waiting for all you paid entrants. Plus, you will get 4 tickets to use as you like--beer, food, or other beverages. After that pardner, you are on yer own. At 10:00 a.m., the first team will start on a pit trek designed by a fanatical crew includin' tires, traps, and tricks (some of the pits consist of ringing a HUGE bra, a pair of gigantic panties, a toilet seat, kiddie pool filled with empty beer cans, deer antlers duct taped to stake, etc., etc.). Score cards will be given out with the explanation of ROOLES just before startin'. What disputes that Tina, Christy or Mitch Miller can't reconcile, o'Grandpa and his trusty hound dog will sure settle. Bring a lawn chair for yer sittin' comfert so you can watch others play. RAIN OR SHINE; party tent on the premises! We will be sellin' neon green and neon blue T-shirts with our famous Horseshoes 4 "everyday" HEROES logo for $10.00. Lookin' at hostin' 100 teams, but can handle 200 teams if needed!!!! Trophies for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners. Spectators are welcome and it will only cost you $5.00 to get in to this here tournament.

All proceeds will benefit the Retired Senior Volunteer Program/Volunteer Intergenerational Center and their Volunteers (our "everyday" Heroes) in providing services to other HEROES in our communities. RSVP/VIC is services of Aging Matters, formerly known as Southeast Missouri Area Agency on Aging.
