CGRG to take on Dark River on Saturday, July 25th!

Saturday, July 25, come check out live roller derby action as the Cape Girardeau Roller Girls hit the track to take on the Dark River Derby Coalition from Quincy, Illinois! Count on an exciting game full of hard hits and fast action as these two teams fight for the win. CGRG and DRDC last met up on the track in August of 2014 where DRDC took the win with a score of 155-108. This is a game you don't want to miss! Been thinking about bringing the kids and haven't yet? We will be offering discounted tickets at the door for children! $3 for kids 6-12, free for kids 5 and under!

The Cape Girardeau Roller Girls are a 501c4 non-profit organization, and part of the profits from each home game benefit a local charity. A check will be presented at halftime to the charity from last game: KRCU Public Radio. The proceeds from the July 25th game will benefit Humane Society of Southeast Missouri, which helps provide loving homes to area animals. Bring a rawhide for the dogs and receive $2 off tickets at the door! Can't make the game? The purchase of a ticket still helps support this organization!

CGRG's record currently stands at 4 to 2 with wins against the Clarksvillains, Southern

Illinois Roller Girls, Springfield Rollergirls, and West Kentucky Rockin' Rollers; and losses to Central Arkansas Roller Derby and the Prairieland Punishers. Tickets for this game are available at PMAC Music, from a CGRG skater, or online at www.capegirardeaurollergirls.com. Tickets are $7 in advance and $9 at the door for adults. Get discounted kids tickets at the door! Just $3 for kids 6-12 and FREE for kids five and under! Doors open at 5pm, with the first whistle at 6pm!
