Stealing from Medicaid

The government has a plan to improve our economy and create jobs through increased international trade via the recently negotiated Trans Pacific Partnership (TPP).

My problem is coordinated legislation to help retrain workers of some industries who will lose jobs, to the greater benefit of all. Where are they going to find the retraining money? I would think the improved economy should do it. That is the argument used when they try to cut taxes. However, the Republicans prefer to steal $700 million from your and my Medicare premiums. I pre-paid premiums for 50 years, in addition to currently paying about $8,000 to protect my wife and myself. Medicare is very important to keep us older people alive. I did not pay so Republicans could steal it. Why are they robbing us when it is not necessary?

I suggest you contact your legislators to protect your healthy retirement.
