Heller scholarship set at Southeast

Sunday, March 29, 2015

The Annette P. Seigel Heller Endowed Scholarship has been established through the Southeast Missouri University Foundation. Heller, of Chesterfield, Missouri, made a $5,000 gift to establish the award. Her gift was matched with an additional $5,000 through the foundation's Honoring Tradition -- Inspiring Success Comprehensive Campaign, which allowed donors to make a minimum commitment of $5,000 to a maximum commitment of $10,000 through donation or pledge that qualified for a $1-for-$1 match. The renewable scholarship will be awarded to a student enrolled at Southeast with financial need. Applicants must have a 2.0 minimum grade point average. The scholarship committee will select the recipient. A 1967 Southeast graduate, Heller has a law degree from St. Louis University. She is a trademark and copyright attorney.
