Reflection on Schweich death

The editorial on Missouri auditor Tom Schweich requires more than political reflection.

Politics has become what it is because of our personal beliefs. No one believes they are responsible for their actions.

The ill-informed voter you talk about is very good at being irresponsible. You say the majority of GOP supporters and voters are Christian. Don't people realize that as Christians we are going to be held responsible for our beliefs and actions?

I don't understand why someone would think less of Mr. Schweich if he were Jewish instead of Episcopalian. Are there no good Jews? How about Catholics, Methodists, Baptists or any other religion. People should be informed, and don't believe something just because someone said it was so. A lot of our leaders have no problem telling lies. If you are an informed voter you should be able to discern the truth.
