Sikeston Teen Earns Eagle Rank

Christopher Palmer of Troop 41 recently achieved the rank of Eagle Scout.

Fourteen year old Christopher Palmer completed a service project for the Recreation Complex in Sikeston to help earn his Eagle Scout award. Christopher is a member of Troop 41 chartered by the Kiwanis Club of Sikeston and First United Methodist Church of Sikeston.

Christopher constructed 10 new benches for the Complex, a project which took just over a week to complete.

The son of Bill and Julie Ann Palmer, Christopher is also a member of the Order of the Arrow, Scouting's national honor society. He has previously attended National Youth Leadership Training.
