'Gone Girl' should be X-rated

We must begin by saying we were caught up into the hype of the movie "Gone Girl." We did not see it at the local theater but waited to purchase the DVD. Our interest was not in the hype about the book everyone raved about, and were told it contained copious amounts of vulgar language, etc.; our interests were in seeing the scenes shot in Cape Girardeau and the hopes to recognize local residents who were picked to be in the movie. It's not often locals get a chance at stardom and also the chance to see a local beautiful city, especially in a "real" Hollywood movie.

We would like to take this opportunity to warn others who have any moral convictions about themselves to not be sucked into spending your money to purchase what should be an XX-rated movie. It is unadulterated filth! If we were Cape Girardeau residents or officials of the City of Cape Girardeau or even those few who can be recognized in the movie, we would be very ashamed to know our beautiful city was portrayed in the filth of a movie by the title of "Gone Girl." We are ashamed that we were duped into watching such filth. We are ashamed to tell others we watched the movie, and hope others are not duped into the R-rated movie that clearly should be X-rated. Take our words for it, pure filth. Also so happy we did not spend more money at the theater.
