Students in the Social Work Practice III class at Southeast Missouri State University donated 50 blankets to SoutheastHEALTH's Building Blocks/Nurse-Family Partnership and 45 blankets to Southeast Hospice on Friday, Dec. 5. The students crafted the colorful blankets, starting in September.

The donations were made as part of the students' "Keep Cape Cozy" project. The students delivered the blankets to Southeast Home Care Services at 10 Doctors' Park. Hospice and Building Blocks operate out of that office. Hospice serves terminally ill patients. Building Blocks is a grant-funded, free prenatal, early childhood, home visitation program for low-income, first-time mothers.
