Calling all writers everywhere! Coming up in January you have an opportunity to start gearing up for a productive writing year in 2015. Sleuth's Ink, a writing group in Springfield MO, invites you to accept a challenge to write 50,000 words toward a novel during the month of January. The holidays are over and you finally have time! The JANO project, sponsored by the Springfield group, originated in 2010 and has been going strong since. Rules are simple:

1. First of all, it's free!

2. Pre-planning, outlining, character development can begin immediately. But absolutely NO writing until January 1. Then write without editing. You can edit later.

3. Prizes: 1st three participants to reach 50,000 word will receive awards as well as those with the best title, most unique character name, best first paragraph and others

4. Participants will be kept informed and may interact via online communications.

Join us! It's productive. But it's tons of fun too! For more information visit, http://bit.ly/1nZTPLN or http://sleuthsink.blogspot.com
