Thank you for Vintage NOW success

On behalf of the clients, staff, volunteers and board of directors of the Safe House for Women, I would like to convey our sincere appreciation and gratitude for the community's support of the 2014 Vintage NOW 5 Fashion Show. The vision of the Safe House for Women is a community in which residents live free from abuse and violence. As our largest fundraiser, the support raised through Vintage NOW contributes significantly to our ability to provide client services that meet our vision.

Based on our preliminary calculations, show attendance exceeded 850 ticket-holders and event volunteers. Through the generosity of sponsors, donations, ticket sales and silent auction items, net proceeds from VN5 were in excess of $42,000. It was a fantastic evening of fun and fashion!

We want to express our thanks to Vintage NOW 5's generous and supportive sponsors and silent auction donors, to our amazing and dedicated volunteers, and to the event- planning committee, a group of individuals who spent countless hours in planning and organizing the event, always with the goal of supporting the Safe House in mind. In particular, we wish to thank Vintage NOW founder and director Deb Maevers for her continued enthusiasm and passion for this cause.
